libjexcelapi-java software package provides Java API to read, write and modify Excel spreadsheets, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjexcelapi-java
libjexcelapi-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjexcelapi-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjexcelapi-java *
You will get with libjexcelapi-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
